Contributing

Run Glade from source, report a bug or a security issue, and open a pull request.

Glade is open source under the MIT license. Fixes, bug reports and ideas are welcome on GitHub. Everyone taking part is expected to follow the Code of Conduct.

Run from source

Install the tools

Install the Bun version pinned in .mise.toml, for example with mise.

Clone and install

git clone https://github.com/berkinory/Glade.git
cd Glade
bun install --frozen-lockfile

Start the Dev app

bun run dev

The interface reloads as you edit it. Restart the command to apply backend changes.

Report a bug

Search the existing issues first, then open a new one with your Glade version, platform, the agent involved and the steps that trigger the problem. Logs help; see where to find them and redact them before attaching.

Report a security issue

Don’t open a public issue. Follow the private process in SECURITY.md.

Open a pull request

Open small fixes as a pull request against main. For a larger feature, open an issue first so the scope is agreed before you build it. Explain what changed and how you checked it.
