Skills
Install a skill once and share it with Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Grok Build and OpenCode, or pick which agents get it.
Skills are folders of instructions, and sometimes scripts, that teach an agent how to do a kind of work. Glade keeps one shared set that every agent can use, instead of a separate copy per agent.
Where skills live
Shared skills live in ~/.agents/skills. Codex, Cursor, Grok Build and OpenCode read that folder
themselves. Claude Code doesn’t, so Glade hands the same folders to it. Skill contents are never
pasted into your prompts; each agent loads them the way it normally would.
Settings → Skills lists the shared skills and each agent’s own, with the agents that already have each one.
Share a skill with every agent
Use in all agents moves a skill from one agent’s folder into the shared one and removes the other agents’ identical copies. A skill that is a link stays a link to its original folder, so dotfile setups keep working. A copy that differs is kept and reported, and plugin or built-in skills are never moved.
Add a skill
Add skill installs from skills.sh or a GitHub link. Before anything is installed, the preview shows:
- the skill’s
SKILL.md, - whether it ships scripts or executables,
- the security audits skills.sh publishes for it.
Glade pins the repository’s current commit, checks that the folder holds only plain files (at most 200 files and 10 MB), and installs exactly that commit. It never replaces an existing folder and never updates an installed skill on its own.
By default a new skill goes into the shared folder. Untick Use in all agents to install it only for the agents you choose.
