Glade is open source under the MIT license. Fixes, bug reports and ideas are welcome on
[GitHub](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade). Everyone taking part is expected to follow the
[Code of Conduct](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/blob/main/CODE_OF_CONDUCT.md).

## Run from source

1. **Install the tools**

    Install the Bun version pinned in `.mise.toml`, for example with [mise](https://mise.jdx.dev).

2. **Clone and install**

    ```bash
    git clone https://github.com/berkinory/Glade.git
    cd Glade
    bun install --frozen-lockfile
    ```

3. **Start the Dev app**

    ```bash
    bun run dev
    ```

    The interface reloads as you edit it. Restart the command to apply backend changes.

## Report a bug

Search the [existing issues](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/issues) first, then open a new one
with your Glade version, platform, the agent involved and the steps that trigger the problem. Logs
help; see [where to find them](/reference/troubleshooting#logs) and redact them before attaching.

## Report a security issue

Don't open a public issue. Follow the private process in
[SECURITY.md](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/blob/main/SECURITY.md).

## Open a pull request

Open small fixes as a pull request against `main`. For a larger feature, open an issue first so the
scope is agreed before you build it. Explain what changed and how you checked it.

The [contributing guide](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/blob/main/CONTRIBUTING.md) covers the
checks to run before you submit, and the
[architecture docs](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/tree/main/docs) explain how the code fits
together.

## Sponsor Glade

If Glade is useful to you, you can support its development through
