Glade is a free, MIT-licensed desktop app for macOS, Windows and Linux, with no account of its own.
Pick your platform; each button downloads the latest release.

Download the latest release for macOS (Apple silicon or Intel), Windows (x64) or Linux (x86_64 AppImage) from [GitHub Releases](https://github.com/berkinory/Glade/releases/latest).

## Install

**macOS**

Open the DMG and drag **Glade** into **Applications**. Or install it with
[Homebrew](https://brew.sh):

```bash
brew install --cask berkinory/brew/glade
```

**Windows**

Run the installer.

:::note
The installer isn't code-signed yet, so SmartScreen may ask first. Choose **More info**, then
**Run anyway**.
:::

**Linux**

Make the AppImage executable and run it:

```bash
chmod +x Glade-*.AppImage
./Glade-*.AppImage
```

## Bring an agent

Glade runs the agent CLIs on your machine, so install and sign in to at least one before your first
chat. Each keeps its own account, plan and limits.

**[Claude Code](/agents/claude-code)**

**[Codex](/agents/codex)**

**[Cursor](/agents/cursor)**

**[Grok Build](/agents/grok-build)**

**[OpenCode](/agents/opencode)**

## First launch

A short setup walks you through four steps. You can change every choice later in **Settings**.

1. **Welcome**

    Pick a light, dark or system appearance.

2. **Agents**

    See which agent CLIs Glade found, and whether they're signed in.

3. **Permissions**

    Decide whether agents may use Computer Use, and whether Glade keeps your Mac awake while they
    work.

4. **First project**

    Add a folder to work in, or skip it and just chat.

## Updates

Glade checks GitHub Releases and tells you when a new version is ready to install. The
[changelog](/changelog) lists what changed in each one.
